Την πρώτη ημέρα του #NevronasFESTival, στον φιλμικό προγραμματισμό, και πριν την εναρκτήρια μεγάλη βραδινή συναυλία με αγαπημένους μουσικούς, εντάσσεται το «SDIT — Self-determination and Inclusion by Theatre: Μια Ιστορία Συμπερίληψης», ακολουθούμενη από σκηνική συζήτηση: Αμφότεροι γονείς αυτιστικών παιδιών, ο υπεύθυνος ταινιών του nevronas.gr Βαγγέλης Καρατζάς συνομιλεί με την Αγγελική Μπαλτατζή, εμπνεύστρια της εθελοντικής πρωτοβουλίας HER-autism και μέλος του διεθνούς οργανισμού Autism-Europe.
To ντοκιμαντέρ μικρού μήκους παρουσιάζει τρεις συμπεριληπτικές θεατρικές παραστάσεις που υλοποιήθηκαν το 2025 σε Ιταλία, Ισπανία και Πορτογαλία, με συμμετοχή ηθοποιών με και χωρίς αναπηρίες. Καλεί το κοινό να στοχαστεί πάνω στους πολλαπλούς τρόπους ύπαρξης, επικοινωνίας και θέασης του κόσμου και να αναγνωρίσει την αξία του συμπεριληπτικου θεάτρου με άξονα την αυτοδιάθεση, την έκφραση και την ένταξη.
Το συνολικό έργο SDIT — Self-determination and Inclusion by Theatre είναι καρπός της Erasmus+ χρηματοδότησης και ευρωπαϊκής συνεργασίας του οργανισμού-ομπρέλα για την αυτιστική κοινότητα Autism-Europe, με τον συντονιστή ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (Πορτογαλία), το ATKV Associação Teatro da Vila (Πορτογαλία), το Asociación Autismo Sevilla (Ισπανία), το Inovar Autismo – Associação de Cidadania e Inclusão (Πορτογαλία) και το Associazione Diversamente ONLUS (Ιταλία).

Friday, April 17, starting time 8:00 PM | Venue: “Apothiki” – Τεχνόπολη Δήμου Αθηναίων – Technopolis City of Athens | “Lights Out, All In!” with the support of EKKOMED – Documentary screening “SDIT — Self-determination and Inclusion by Theatre” (with subtitles) and followed by a discussion (Greek subtitling: Manolis Stratigis, with interpretation in Greek Sign Language by HandsUp)
On the first day of the #NevronasFESTival, in the film screening program, and before the grand opening evening concert with favorite musicians, “SDIT — Self-determination and Inclusion by Theatre” will be premiered, followed by a stage discussion; Both parents of autistic children, Film Programme Manager of nevronas.gr Vangelis Karatzas talks with Angeliki Baltatzi, inspirer of the voluntary initiative HER-autism in Heraklion and individual member of the international organization Autism-Europe.
The short documentary focuses on three inclusive theatrical performances that took place in 2025 in Italy, Spain and Portugal, with the participation of actors with and without disabilities. It invites the audience to reflect on the multiple ways of being, communicating and seeing the world and to recognize the value of inclusive theatre based on self-determination, expression and inclusion.
The overall project “SDIT — Self-determination and Inclusion by Theatre” is the result of Erasmus+ funding and European cooperation under the umbrella – organisation for the autistic community Autism-Europe, coordinated by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal) and more partners: ATKV Associação Teatro da Vila (Portugal), Asociación Autismo Sevilla (Spain), Inovar Autismo – Associação de Cidadania e Inclusão (Portugal) and Associazione Diversamente ONLUS (Italy).
